I ran across an ad for them in Pacific Horticulture a couple months ago, they're up in Sebastopol and their website says they have an ever changing selection of exotic, hard to find, and specialty plants...just the sort of thing that sounds like a great nursery to me! But they don't have any info on the website yet about exactly what sorts of plants they have, and it's kind of a long drive up to Sebastopol so I figured I'd check here and see if anyone else here knew anything about them before I venture up there some weekend.

Anyone familiar with Peacock Hort. Nursery?
I agree, their Website is nice, but all I got out of it was that they have a pretty kitty;-)
Anxious to hear what you find out!!! (if it is a bust, there is always Lone Pine Nursery and Minature Plant Kingdom:-)
pawny:-)
hiya ecrane,
great to see you.
You might ask Zuzu if she knows about this place as she actually lives in Sebastapol. She's normally hanging out over in the Rose forum.
best to you,
don
Zuzu, Kell and I went and the nursery is nice and I enjoyed our visit. They do have specialty plants as well as some more common plants. Seems like they've purchased from Tera Nova (plugs) and are growing for sales. Plenty of of unusual things.
Thanks! Sounds like it's worth the trip, I'll have to find out when they're open and head up there one of these weekends.
Well give a holler if you are going, I'll hook up with Zuzu and we'll meet you there! Then head over to some other nurseries. Hopefully Kell will come along too, never one to miss a good nursery hop!
Sounds like fun--I will definitely let you know when I'm going! I'm thinking probably late March/early April, some weekend when there's not a big plant sale that I have to go to!
