Old seeds

Here are the two packets I bought. The seeds are not in as good a shape as the 1949 seeds. In fact, some have crumbled into dust!

They look nice for framing and would be pretty for decoration. I know some people use these for crafts. BTW,that quilt you posted earlier on another forum was really beautiful!

If the seeds turn out to be a total loss, at least I have the old packaging!

If you get some seeds sprouting then you will have more treasure. It would be a proud moment to know you have the real deal heirloom morning glory. How old are the .15 cent seeds?

These two packages are not stamped with a year. I noticed the 1949 seeds were 10 cents, so these are later since they are 15. I don't know the exact year, though.

My impression of the packaging design leads me to think that these packets are late 50's/early 60's...

I used to make these years ago. This one came from an outlet store that sells garden decor. It's just the front of a seed packet decoupaged to a piece of wood with a wire hanger.
