Ipomoea tuberculata

Ipomoea tuberculata is today considered to be an Old World species and is listed as being native to e.g. Zimbabwe...the color plate is very nice and shows some noteworthy color inversion of the primary folds as compared to the actual photo I had linked to...
There are also what looks like spines similar to Ipomoea setosa

The leaves are similar to Ipomoea heterodoxa
