Hi, when I planted my WS containers they were watered well, but now it's VERY cold out and they look almost dry...I know soil does sometimes get that look when its very cold though. So should I water or wait till the snow melts and drips into the container? I figure the answer is the latter but I just have to ask!
Thanx,
Steve
Watering
What's your outside temperature? If the soil is frozen you shouldn't need more moisture, even though it might look dry.
Karen
Outside its about -20F. with wind chill.
Nope, don't worry about water. If there's snow on top, it will water for you. Assuming your containers went out well watered, they shouldn't really need added water until your weather warms considerably.
Karen
Yes, they were well watered. I just had to ask to be sure :)
Thanx for you help!
Steven
