Need a germination schedule for Zone 5

Lima, OH(Zone 5b)

I am new at this and need a germination schedule for zone 5 for annuals, perennials, and vegetables. I am doing some wintersowing; but want to grow some under lights too. I am all set up and want to start them early enough that they are more than a small seedling mid May. I have basil and parsley currently growing under lights.

Thanks so much Tamara! I had been there before, but could not "find my way back"...now I have it in my favorites.

Tammy, I'm just starting to read about winter sowing. What are you planting? I don't have a basement to start stuff in.

Tammy, are you going to the Cleveland Home and Garden Show? Or is Lima too far (I'm very geographically challenged!)? I'm going on Monday and I can't wait! Tamara

Tamara, NO I AM NOT!!!! But I heard it is wonderful. I am on the other side of the state; but there is also East Lima that is closer to Cleveland. I am soooooo jealous. I need something like that to help me arrange my garden. Please report back and let me know how it was; maybe I can attend next year.

billy, I hesitate to post any plant names as WS-able, as I have never done this before. I will try to post what I do over this weekend....after I search for more info on my seeds. I find I am ready to try some from each seed packet just to see what happens; and sew some under lights too.

I've read those in warmer climates WS outside, but like you I don't know what I could try for that. I have a lot of old seeds, so I won't be suprised if any of them don't sprout. :)) It will be interesting to see what you try. I need to look at my seeds again.
