Cute little babies forming. I pulled some scales off my Black Beauty bulbs in the fall. New little babies are forming now.

Awwww, aren't they cute, woody. I did some scales myself last fall for the first time ever. I have been truly amazed at two things this winter the power of a lily scale and the power of the lily seed. Isn't it fun?
I've got some seeds, but I have plented those. I get such a kick out of scaling the bulbs though. They are amazing.

They've been in a baggie with a handful of peat moss since September. I only moistened it the first time slightly.
