Thanks Bryan, so far everything is looking good. Berries seem to be intact, pollen end has dried up. I'll post more photos in a day or two. Hope something takes.

Hi Brian, thanks for looking. Is that fluff on the mid section pollen? Is it worth trying to collect?

Usually the flower is spent in two days. First day you get this amazing smell and the flower usually opens up to the bottom female section. Once that are is sealed off the top portion usually produces pollen. I have found though that if a plant is not mature or if it is the plants first flower that the pollen maybe very scarce in some cases the pollen is extremely hard to find or nonexistant. In many hybrids I find them to be sterile and some produce no pollen at all.

These are young plants, grown from tissue culture last year. I'll keep an eye on the berries and see if they mature. If they make it, do you have any interest in trying to grow some of them out? I would love to try some of them myself but don't think I have the expertise required.

I could grow them for the summer if you want. Their could be some differences form the parents I am not sure if they would be noticable. In most cases if their is a difference it usually means they are dwarf or giant mutations. Will see how they do you have done a good job growing this one and the seeds would not be much more difficult. I could help you figure it out if you need. THANKS

Thanks Brian, I'll post their progress.

Well, all the stems turned to mush. 3 of the 4 don't look good, the berries are dried and brown. This one has some berries, not red, that look ok. Is it worth trying them and if so, how do I proceed. I know the flesh has to be cleaned off the seed, do I soak them?

well I am not sure if those took or not. They do not look mature and you may not get seeds from this. The berries should have a small seed in them but with the way they look here you may not or they maybe very imature and may not make it. What I would suggest is to gently check each berry for a hard seed. If you find one get a 2 liter cut the top off right above the plastic name on the 2liter then put in about 4 to 5inches of pro mix and damp it off place the seeds on top of the soil and set in a warm spot.

Thanks Brian, I was afraid that they didn't take. The stems were mushy so I took them all off. I'll give what you say a try, should I use bottom heat and do I not cover the seeds?
