CLOSED: What am I?

I don't think I've posted this before, if I have apologies, but I missed the ID. I've been curious, but the closest I can come is that it is some sort of Katydid based on the hook on it's back end. I'll post a couple more pics. Sure looks happy.

Seen at the Norfolk Botanical Gardens, Aug 2005, on a lotus blossom, that is the pink thing.

It is cool!. . ... the dark stripes on the 'neck' are supposed to identify these.
