I know that some of you are still in the grip of the cold but it was a balmy 54 degrees here yesterday. I went up into the woods checking on damage from the ice storms, the only victim unfortunately was Robins climbing rose, several of the branches had broken from the weight of the ice.
While walking around I started to get the itch to work on the place like getting the veggie garden ready for spring planting, clearing the fallen leaves and branches off the ground. Alas I'm afraid its still to early for all of that but after that cold spell just that bit of nice weather has me ready to go.
PS: I would rather be up there than on here. No offense.
