Got Atkinson?????? Well..
Just a note to thank you again for the seeds, Starlight. My Atkinson seedlings are doing well; I've been giving them away to friends and have also sold the extras at plant sales. I've been encouraging everyone to save the seeds.
Do you still have any?
Wrightie, If you or anybody else gets a chance. Please take a pic. I would liek to have a pic to preserve and also so we have one on here, since there doesn't seem to be any pics of it and I am not only the worst phottographer, but also don't have a camera workign at th moment.
Maski... I think I only have about 225,000 left. hehehehhe . If ya's like some be glad to send ya some, just dm me your addy. Finishing up finals and will get em out to ya.
OK,
second message. I planted quite a few Atkinson seeds, but I only have so much space. The top two rows are Atkinson, the next two are Market Wonder and the last two are Better Boy (hybrid- in case the other 2 didn't grow). The Atkinsons grew so quick that I decided that I would try some other heirlooms. So I bought Caspian Pink, Black Krim, White Wonder, and Red Brandywine. I hope that they grow as well. I never tried growing tomatoes from seeds this much but it's a lot of fun. The rest of the Atkinsons got transplanted into larger pots and will be given away as presents. I wll try to keep seeds for next year, fermenting, another new experiment for me. If not, I still have extra seeds to try another next year. Thanks again
Thankls for postign a pic and the updates UncleHudy. Got your self a nice little veggie gardening there. Lookign real good. Ya it not easy growign from seed sometime, but yoru right it sure is fun and ya learn so much as do it . Think it make s the veggie s taste even better when they have all yoru hard work and sweat in them.
