I am wondering if this plant was mis-identified. I recently purchased a Fleetfoot and Foulweather plant labeled Adromischus hemisphaericus, and the leaves were more ovate, not cylindrical, and the leaf color is silver, not green. I checked on line with a google query, and found a page showing several different plants in cultivation and in habitat, showing a plant more similar to what I have.

The webpage is at: http://myweb.tiscali.co.uk/adrodisp/hemisphaericus.htm

I clicked on the MyWeb link you provided and it came up as "Sorry, the web page you requested cannot be found."
Try putting in the URL without the "http://" part.

I also googled and see this difference you are referring to, Do you have any ideas as to which other one it might be?

Argh. My apologies on the link. There was a trailing '.' which messed everything up. I have now corrected the link, and all appears to be good with it.

As to what it could be, I trolled the site above. The plant is very green, I wonder if it was grown in too little light. That aside, I wonder if it could be ADROMISCHUS MARIANIAE "KUBUSENSIS" or another plant in that genus. http://myweb.tiscali.co.uk/adrodisp/marianiae-kubusensis.htm

Maybe the image could be sent to them, and confirmed or denied.

Yes it does look very similar to A. marianiae 'kubusensis',

I also did some searching for it and seen this "Top" photo on this webpage which looks very similar
http://www.desert-tropicals.com/Plants/Crassulaceae/Adromischus_hemisphaericus.html

But the "Bottom" photo on the desert-tropicals webpage dosen't look the same.

Interesting maybe it was grown with a good bit of shade, and consequently the leaves are holding more chlorophyll, and have less of the silver/white stuff on the leaves.

So I guess maybe just a comment saying that this plant appears to be greener than others pictured, and that other plants may have less cylindrical and more oval shaped leaves.

The Adromischus Displayed site comes with a warning regarding the variblity of plants of the genus see http://myweb.tiscali.co.uk/adrodisp/qus-variab.htm for a fuller discussion.

Thanks for a good discussion.
