I believe the colour is something like "chamois" it's a Behr paint (solid colour stain) available at Home Depot. A similar colour is available through Olympic stain.
DH painted the fence with a brush. He recommends getting the highest quality stain since it doesn't require any primer and you won't have to repaint as much.
He likes the colour because it weathers well - don't have to repaint constantly - and white paint shows mildew so quickly.
Introducing myself
how long has the fence been painted in those photos? and did he paint both sides?
The fence had been painted maybe a week. No, we just painted our side of the fence. We don't really care what colour the neighbours paint their side.
However, I understand that fence painting can be touchy. So - if your neighbours built the fence, you want to consult with them first before you paint your side. The neighbours may not care what colour you paint your side of the fence in your backyard, but will probably want some level of continuity for any fence that is readily available from the street. So if they have painted their front fence purple, they will probably want the exposed side of the fence (the side facing you that is viewable from the street) to also be purple.
Hope this helps.

i doubt if hubby will approve....but i can dream!!!!
He might approve if (1) you do the painting and (2) you remind him that paint is cheaper than a new fence; painting a wooden fence helps preserve it. :-)
we are so bad:)
heheheh
Hi, ya'll. Saw the lilies and got excited!! I have a walkway bed that is riddled with Casa Blancas. This year they were 7 ft and dancing every which way. The scent was wonderful!! The pictures not that well focussed but the mass of white has a cooling effect. It was 90 degrees when they opened up.
Love your stargazers, dizzies and yellow ones.
Wow! a pathway of Casa Blanca - that's fabulous, Foxnfirefly! - you have given me some ideas!
That IS fabulous! I'd walk the path every day sniffing. Gives me incentive too :))
WOW,, and I only have one.. sighhhhh. Just gorgeous
