How much sun do I have to have for this. Anyone have this in not full sun? and in my zone

Mine is shaded until noon, but I have noticed that it wants to lean towards the west. I'd say it's most happy in full sun. Shade from all around would probably make it look scraggly.

My experience is anecdotal, but I have always thought of Vitex as a full-sun, bake all day, sharp drainage a must kind of plant.
