Wow Susan! You must be the queen of winter sowing :-) Makes me look positively restrained by comparison.
--Ginny
Oh Ginny - I know for a fact that there are winter sowers crazier than me. I don't have much room in the house so I put as much as I can outside. I only have a couple of things started indoors (peppers, datura & canna). So if you add in your inside stuff I'm not sure how restrained you actually are.... :-)
Susan
You weren't supposed to catch on to that ;-)
LMBO!
Same here, I start as much as I can outside.
Ziplock bags are my favorite thing to use for WSing, I just keep putting those bags out there! I'll have to get a count....

Wow Susan - you're going to be positively awash in Poppies this year! I love the way they seem to flow so gracefully in the slightest breeze.
--Ginny
Susan - I think you're the Canadian Winter Sowing Champ, with 140 containers! I just got my WS'd poppies planted yesterday. They should really take off now that they're in the ground.............But I have a feeling you're going to steal the show with yours!
Steven
Ginny - I love poppies too. I hope all of our poppy dreams come true :-) I'm pretty jealous to see that Steven is planting his out when I have just sown my seeds...
Steven - I am pretty sure I'm not the winter sowing champ but I will admit to being obsessed with this method. Can't get much better than cheap, easy and low maintenance (and the results are amazing...).
Susan
Hehe, don't be jealous of my poppies Susan :) Since I planted them out, most of them are just sitting there doing nothing :(
I love the poppies in your photo!
Steven
