January Bingo Calls "Winter Theme"
I will "think" about hosting....oh, my goodness, what did I just say???? I have never done it before..so I am not sure what all is involved..but if picking the names and calling them each day is about all there is...I can do that....I am sure there is more to it though....so tell me what is needed.....surely I can handle it....
Janet that's all you have to do is pick 35 names , and call them each day. Post the names on a different thread giving people week or two to get them in . Then you might want to start a new thread for calls.
Pick the dates you want to start and all.
Most time the Host donated the prizes. It use be you'd post 35 named plants you own. Players picked 15 . Winner would get the 15 either leaves or babies they won.
Being Winter months and not everyone having 35 named Av's this is a fun way to play don't you think. Though we have been getting spoiled with greatest prizes!

Well, I certainly do not have thirty five plants...LOL I am not sure how many I do have though....lol perhaps half that many, and some of them are babies...Okay, I will do it, but there is a catch....see what you think....I would like to have a "Violets I Love" theme...since it is for February , and everyone dmail me with the one violet you LOVE the most, and I will make my list from those names, along with others if needed....and you must have a picture of the one you send to me for the list, so that when it is called you can post the picture....how does that sound? I think it would also be fun to have one really nice sized prize for the FIRST BINGO....so maybe only have three prizes.....Are you sure you want to donate so much Allison...that is a lot for one person...I am sure we have others who will donate too...so what do you guys think? Would this work?

Yes I was thinking these are gifts people will really enjoy and keep enjoying during the whole year ! Maybe the first prize gift Cert. can be winners choise where it will come from and if several people donate, mail the $$$ to one person who will buy it for the winner !
That sounds good to me too...Let's see who else would like to put in some money for the FIRST PRIZE...I will see how it goes on donations and then I will see how LARGE we can make that first prize...LOL I don't mind being the one to purchase the gift certificate, and the winner doesn't even have to pick an African Violet place, it could be any garden center of their choice...
well what if you dont have any of them and still want to play,(i guess i can play) right lol since i am holding the cards? if not then that is ok too lol i had so much fun in the others that i want to do another one lol wether i play or not it is fun to see people try to see what is next heheheeeh

Well Janet I'dd Dmail you my valetine names. You might have to pick some your self if you don't get 35. :)) Then you can post them, let people know to pick 15 and Dmail their card to Moetez. Let them know the date you want the cards in and date you want to start !!

Janet I love your ideas and the Theme you chose.How fitting : ) So should everyone that wants to play dmail you a name of a favorite violet of theirs and then post the pic for it if it is called? Just double checking.OK I won't get in any hurry until I hear back from you how you want to do it.
