Ventura, United States(Zone 10b)

Hey All! I thought I would post some flower pics for you all to see. This was my centerpiece at Christmas dinner.

Here's a close-up of the flowers:

As I was setting the table, I figured that I should take a pic of the whole table:

My guests smelled each one after dinner:

I still have flowers blooming outside, but they are smaller and lighter in color. Here is 'Cancun Pink,' which is outside with a seedpod, flowers, and new inflo's coming in from the new tips:

Beautiful centerpiece Clare. I have one of the plates that you have! Are they antique? Someone gave me one and I love it, wish I had a set.
Here you go again, making me envious with your plumeria! The ones you sent me and sprouting new leaves and they're all doing really well. Thanks for sharing those and your beautiful photos!
Your table is absolutely gorgeous.

Hope I didn't butt in to your posting photos!

This one is called 'Jana's Curly Pink':

Thanks, Louise, and Happy New Year! That is my flatware, and the design is called 'Blue Willow.' I don't think it is antique, but that design has been around for many, many years so maybe it is an antique design. I love it too. I got the set years ago, maybe in the 1980's, from Bloomingdales by mail order! I'm so glad Brad's cuttings are rooting for you. That is awesome! Thanks so much for the compliment:-) Don't worry about interrupting because I don't mind;-)

I love the dark red of 'Jana's Curly Pink.' It is stunning.

I have to throw this one in, even though it is not a plumeria. It is my 'Duchess.'

Here is 'Cancun Pink' again:

This is 'Penang Peach,' which lost its red pigment to the cold so there is no orange color, and yellow is what is left:

These are all blooming now?!!?!??!?
Well, we certainly have good taste in dinnerware don't we??!?!?!
Happy New Year to you too my friend!

And we certainly keep posting at the same time!

'Duke' lost its red pigment too and looks very faded compared to what it looks like in the summertime:

LOL, Louise! Yes, many are still blooming outside, but the blooms are fewer and smaller in size and lighter in color. I just didn't have much room in the greenhouse this year. I have lots more blooms in the greenhouse, but I am not running a heater or a fan in there this year due to the high cost of electricity. It does get up to 100 in the daytime though in there, and I do open it up daily to cool it off a bit and create some air circulation.

Louise, these pictures were all taken within the past two weeks. This is a white which is blooming outside:

This was the last 'Blue Violet' bloom, taken on 12/14:

'Candy Stripe' is much less bright than it was this summer. Heat really does bring out the color in the flowers, especially the red colors of the spectrum.

This 'Dwarf Singapore Pink' is outside, and it really doesn't want to open its buds as cold as it is outdoors. I should probably bring it inside.

Last one, this isn't a plumeria but a lovely flower that is blooming in winter. It is nycanthus arbor-tristis.

Beautiful, beautiful, beautiful......makes me want to drag my plumies out of storage!!

I suppose I'll have to be content with babying new plumeria seedlings!

Ventura, United States(Zone 10b)

LOL! Thanks, Nat, and Happy New Year! Yes, babying plumeria seedlings seems to be the thing to do in the winter, doesn't it? I've spent the last few winters doing just that. Show us pics of yours when you can!

You're killing me Clare! Ok, my New Years resolution is to have a third of the plumeria's Clare has!

Ventura, United States(Zone 10b)

Thanks, Louise. Well, I have a feeling you'll have at least a third in no time!

Thanks, Allison. That's so nice of you to say;-) It is my pleasure to share. Happy New Year to you too!
