I am having a nice relaxing morning so far. The weather is gorgeous and I am heading for the garden to putter in it all day long. It's been awhile since I've been out there and it needs a little attention.

I am going to my DD/SIL's house this evening for a wonderful dinner. He bought and will cook my favorite fish...Chilean Sea Bass. yum yum

Thank you all for the wonderful birthday wishes today. Off to the garden I go..........

Oh, I almost forgot....I received an email this morning that said my new GH was shipped out yesterday and will be here within 2 - 12 business days...woo hoo, it's on it's way. Guess I better get the area cleared for it soon. :-)

Hi Arlene,

Yes, the GH showed up on Friday at noon. All 3 pieces are laying flat on the garage floor waiting to be opened. We are still putting the Christmas boxes up on the rafters and don't have room to open the GH boxes yet.

Thanks Michele, better late than never. lol I know you've been busy lately and also taking some family time. :-)

Pirl, Oh yes did we have fun!! It is so much more fun going nursery hoping with another real gardener, especially someone as knowledgable as Mike is. He has the best sense of humor and easy care attitude....we have a lot in common when it comes to the type of plants we like. Well, almost....he likes daylilies (I don't) and roses (I only have a few climbers) and that's enough for me.

I'm looking forward to going to another great nursery that neither of us has been to yet. That should be fun again. :-)

I'm not sure if he'll be jealous or not... but I hope he gives me some good advice on how to grow things in it.
