That looks like an Ipomoea purpurea...although the sepals do look a bit different...try to post a sideview of the flower showing a closeup of the sepals if at all possible...are the seedpods turning to face the ground(?)...

Hi Ron, I knew you'd see this up quickly! It's more blue than lavender actually. I tried to bring it to its normal colour but could not. I'll look for more views of this.
