Snowrose, your plants amaze me!!! And I Love Rob's Honeysuckle Rose!!!!! If a leaf should fall of and find itself with babies, I'd love to have one!!!!
Here's a pic of Smokey Moon(the cat) about 2 months ago at 5 months old.
Everyone's pics are great!! Isn't it uplifting to have blooms in the winter??

December Blooms..Share Your Pics
OH....is he the cutest!!! I bet you didn't think he was so cute at the time he was knocking down your violets LOL! Bet you didn't stay mad long though. With that face, how could you?
I'll start some Honeysuckle Rose leaves. I have grown to love trailers.
lol- I'm watching the Main Coon thread too and got confused when I saw the cat pic!!
I love that pic- no offense, but s/he looks insane there :) Beautiful, but completely mad!!! The hairs sticking straight out are the perfect touch... like a mad scientist!
Here's a link to a pic of my Maine Coon, Ramses, looking crazy, just to show you how much I love the look: http://davesgarden.com/place/fp.php?pid=3014260
I saw this beautiful red Gloxinia at Publix, and it took all my will not to buy it! It had at least 5 blooms on it... which is why I decided I couldn't buy it! Until I can get my own Gesneriads as happy as they can possibly be, I shouldn't take on more... how's that for self-control?!?! Since they sell AVs for $2.99, I was tempted, but they only had the purple & white one like I already have, shown above.
Gina... what a doll! Love those Maine Coons. The first one I ever saw or heard of actually was up in Maine. Someone had this big ol' 25 pounder as gentle and loving as can be.
I need some of that self control!
Great pics everyone, beautiful plants. Thanks for brightening my morning. My Maine Coon has that same insane look, we sometimes wonder if he sees things we don't. Oh and he is 24 lbs, and he does some damage when he waltzes past the light stand with that big plumey tail.
Snow - I'm rumbling around right now in my plant room to see what I have to trade for a piece of that orchid cactus. I love your big window too.
Susan...you have a Maine Coon, also?! Wow, a big one too! What's he like? Orchid cactus cuttings...no problem.
Merry Christmas everyone ! Yippe congratualtions on all your blooms ! Their all beautiful !
Gina-Rose I love your Gloxinia ! I've never had a pink one sure need to find one now !
Thanks everyone for sharing !
WOW for Chirstmas a Teddy Bear bloom! Congratulations ! You sure grew those stolons good ! It's beautiful ! Thanks for sharing :))
Violet,
Check a local Publix- at least all the ones in my area seem to be carrying them right now. Or, if I'm ever able to propogate, I'll probably post to this Gesneriad forum about my achievement, and then ask me... I don't have enough room to have more than one of any color!!! ;)

Pretty pink there, cedarnest!
Nancy love your collage and how is Teddy Bear !!
Thank You For Asking Allison : ) Oh Teddy Bear Is Getting To Be A Big Fella! LOL I Am Going To Need To Take Stolons Off Him Pretty Soon.He Is Gorgeous. Not Blooming But Loaded With Buds. Right Now The Foliage Alone Is A Real Treat. I Should Have Plenty Of Stolons To Share With Others As You Did With Me.Thanks So Much.I Can't Wait For Spring Trades To Begin! Pink Panther Is looking Great Too With Lots Of New Growth.Blue Heaven Struggles For Me For Some Reason. Its Still Gorgeous But Doesn't Seem To Grow As Fast As The Others.I Am Sure Once The Weather Warms Up He Will Grow Fast Again : )
Nancy
WOW I see a bud !! Taking stolons off , makes blooms !! great growing oh they like food too ~
Do they like the same food as av's? I have giving them VF-11.Is that strong enough for them? They seem to like it : )
Perfect !! Mine ; love it !
Thanks : )
cedarnest I'm browsing back at old thread and see you have some gorgous plants ! You grow many Episcias ! I like your Teddy Bear blooming !
Thank you Robin,The av's i can grow really well but the episcias seem to struggle for me.They did pretty well for me at first and a few even bloomed a bit but I just don't seem to have the humidity they need to keep them happy and blooming.I am going to try the advice Critter gave me in another thread to see if I can get them happy again.
Hey Nancy, I wasn't around when you posted this collage....gee, your violets look fantastic.....I am not having any trouble with episcias that Allison gave me so far....but we normally have very high humidity outside and the inside is humid ,too. Most people use dehumidifiers, but I don't.......but mine have not bloomed yet.....
