Love the patchwork. What is the one in the bottom middle? I especially like that one.

Tulsa, OK(Zone 6b)

I have Smokey Moon blooming now. He looks alot better in the pic than now cause Smokey Moon knocked him off and broke some of the outer leaves. LOL I bought this plant cause I have a new Maine Coon kitten and his name is Smokey Moon. I really love the blooms. They have a lavender tinge to them and are edged in green, but I can't capture it.

what are the names of the 2 blue ones, your plants are wonderfull

Silver Spring, MD

They are Optimara's that came with no names. But they are truely blue and quite large.

On the Identify page the blue with white edge looks like Martinique. I don't see a look alike for the solid blue one.

Thank you, cedarnest for your super collage! I will have to learn how to do that one of these days. I love everyones lovely pics. Thanks for starting this thread.

Too bad we have the long cold winter ahead of us but I will try to make the most of it. Good to know that in just a few days, the daylight will begin to get longer....little by little. If you see anything you like just let me know....maybe for Easter ;-)

Finally, got my camera out of the car. Here are the only blooms I have:

I'm almost embarrassed to post this pic, but here's what happened to this pretty (and beat up) survivor.
First, it was in a south window and got sunburn and a really tight center from too much sun. So I moved it into the kitchen on the windowsill and it did much better, until my cat knocked it over and it got knocked out of it's pot and lost leaves, etc.....but isn't is a lovely color bloom?

And here's my other plant thats blooming now.

I overwater this Gloxinia... but it keeps forgiving me, poor fool that it is ;) Mine I usually rescue from the grocery stores, so I don't know cultivars.

And here's a pretty AV that also came from the grocery store:

I love everyone's collage/combo pics! They're all so beautiful.

ps. That 'Capricorn' Rex Begonia is gorgeous... and it's name is a sign, since I'm a Capi too! ;) One day I'll have one too!

maureen, lovely violets on a great new plant stand. What a way to start the New Year off right!

gina_rose (Capricorn girl who either has had or will have a birthday soon), I will try to start some Capricorns from leaf cuttings over the winter. If I succeed and you still are interested, I will send one to you in the spring to add to your other pretty plants.
