"Dreaming" Wishing most wanted Christmas present.

Hehe...now..lets dream, if we could have anything..what would it be...
I will start..hahah...I would want to buy the lot across the street from us..and have a big three car garage, with a second story..and up there..a glass room..heated of course..So I could garden in the winter..hahaha...sure...It will never happen but I could dream..hehehe..maybe tonight..hahahaha...

A new 3 stall horse barn with an attached tack & feed room.... With human living quarters upstairs. A little two bed, one and a half bed would work just fine. :)

I want a potting shed and a moon garden with the entrance framed by an arbor covered with white roses. Are we suppose to only pick one thing?? hehehe.

Oooh - I want a fully functional heated glasshouse (old victorian style) with attached potting shed so I could garden all year round and a yard that gets full sun all day long. Then I would put a fridge, a coffee maker, my garden books and a really comfy couch in it. And a big "Keep Out" sign. LOLOL

I'd want half my yard to be "full sun" (almost entirely shade as is)........and everything kiwi said! Especially the old victorian greenhouse.

To have a screened in back porch and to have my yard landscaped! I know it's two but...maybe they could be tied together *G*

I would want to buy a house on the street right around the corner from us. Unlike my block, residents there decorate for holidays, fly the American flag, are seen actually talking with each other and even wave and say hello to me if I'm jogging past. They grow flowers in their front yards. My block is not hostile, but definitely not neighborly. I can go a whole week and never see a soul here.

A Mediterranean Cruise for my DH and I . There has been a few years of just work, work, work and not much play time for us. That would be a nice dream come true for Christmas.

Second with me is some sort of attached greenhouse/conservatory-type addition to my house.

Third...I've been 'yearning' to learn to play the Irish Flute (I used to be pretty good on the Clarinet and Flute) and I'd love to own one!

All I want is to be 39 and my kids grown but my knowledge where it is now and all my surgeries behind me but able to work in the yard like I could when I WAS 39. Then I could have the house I really want w/the yard I really want and the neighbors I really want and everything flourishes and blooms and does what it is supposed to do without too much intervention from me but I get all the credit. In reality I'll probably get what I deserve which is just about what I have now. It IS a dream isn't it? I'll settle for more help in getting more help where I need it, a greenhouse w/a storage shed and a AC'd potting shed and a good yard guy who knows at least as much as I do about gardening and who has great taste when it comes to placing plants and buying the right plants. Is this too much to dream of?

Oh, Anne..I do not think so..I sounds like a great wish to me..wowow..yes..would be nice..Maybe you could give me your brain..for where to plant what..hehehe...I will give it back I promise..hehehe...My hubby and I ..use kind of trial and error..thing..hehehe...but we have fun..I wish also I could get on my knee's and get into the dirt..hahaha you would laugh..how I do it...He brings me pots..to plant..hehe..I set in a chair..and play..hahaha...if it is out..in the yard..I just ride my cart down..and watch..hehehe I am a """giver of orders.."" lol if we are allowed more than one I'd like new sink tops in the bathrooms too! Then my house would be as done as I'm going to get it. I could always put in new cabinets etc but not on the list of what we need to do. But thinking of the perfect Christmas gift would be a good job for the husband with his company in Rome Georgia. I'd love to live closer to home.

There are a lot of things..you can do..They are not permanent, but they can be more pleasing to the eye..hehehe I would call it ..getting over the hump...haha...dmail..me...if? heheheh

Ours is an easy solution, buy new sinktops at HD the main problem (as those aren't to $$ ) is the cost of having them put in. My DH is about as handy as two apes at a goat ...well we won't get into that one *G* labor cost here have gone out of the roof since Rita.

I already have my biggest Christmas wish! My back surgery was a huge sucess..and I am straight again!!! I couldn't ask for more!!! Welll...except for the pain and soreness to go away quickly! :)

Waving hi to you, Diana!

Hmm.....what's on my wish list? Well, I would love to have about 3 acres and a 2500 sq ft house (5 bedroom/3 bath preferably.) I'd have to add on a heated workshop for my DH and a greenhouse for me. Oh and a garden helper would be nice too. ;o)

Mgh...wowow..sounds good to me...setting here thinking..wowow..hahaha..Well just get the 5 bedroom house..when you are young..too much to take care for at my age..hahah I would like more bathrooms..though..hhehe I do not know why we each have one..but..then...a extra..would be great just to have...(emergency..you know Hahah)... for me..your Climate..would be good too...Oregon...I think is great.---A heated workshop..ok...we have a basement...cool..Oh a greenhouse...and 3 acres wowow...and no trees..hahaha..we have way too many...sounds good to me...I wish..it for you..hehehe...I wish I were...a giver..of dreams for all that post...Dreaming is good..no matter what...smiles..

It's a mess junk all over....No they were glode locust...3 of them and in order for them to look good...I had to have them trimmed 2 times a year....at $50.00 each got to be too pricey to look good...So had them cut down.

I'd like a new dining room table and chairs, my daughter to do well in grad school, peace on earth and......

This is a pic of what's supposed to be a driveway leading into our vacant land where we'll make a little cottage one day. It's rough-going trying to drive in there and we can't afford to pay someone to help just yet.

Well I have decided to come and help...some of you..I will bring a broom...and containers to put junk in from the garages..hammer and nails...fasteners..for the walls. and elbow grease. For those that need drive ways..I am bring..a bulldozer...long forms..of wood. metal reinforcement, cement mixer..and more help...How does that sound? hehehe...I wish...

Congratulations on your future cottage. How much land do you have there? It looks like a pretty piece of property. I remember how we walked our property and dreamed about the future. Ours looked almost identical to yours before the dozer work was done. If I can find the "before" photo I'll post it for you.
