Seedling health issues, pics inside...

Fox River Valley Are, WI(Zone 5a)

Hi,
My seedlings look ok for my first time, but some are having issues. Some of them have these areas where the leaves are dieing and slowly spreads. Overall they have kind of a yellowish mottling also, perhaps some sort of nutrient need?

The mottling might be a nutrient deficiency. I often see this sort of mottling in mid spring on my adult lilies. I use dilute epsom salts and see improvement within a few weeks. From what I have read the magnesium enables the uptake of other nutrients. I haven't used it on seedlings so you might try it on just a few. I never measured it, just put about a quarter cup in 2 gallons of water. With seedlings maybe just a small pinch in say, a quart of water.
