I'm trying to buy a new website name but everything I try has gone already. here's where you come in. can you please give me some ideas and hopefully I can pick one.

marksgarden is taken as is all variations of names using the following words - cottage, garden and plants.

here's hoping,

Mark

How about Mark's get away?

Here's a few that are available:

BATMANMARK.COM
IRMARK.COM (play on words?)
MARKISME.COM
UNIVERSEOFMARK.COM

Well, 5 out of 100 checked ain't bad. Good luck - finding a good domain name is hard these days.

I remember when dave.com was available. I should have snagged it then.

plantaholicsparadise.com Thats my favorite by far. Too bad they don't have a Brugoholics.com website...or do they. Lol, I wouldn't know enough to even mess with a website.

Antrim, Northern Ire, United Kingdom(Zone 8b)

SDoglover, I go to http://www.xcalibre.co.uk. they have a search box on the left hand side where you typw in the name you want. in seconds it tells you if it's available or not. if it is they give you loads of options to buy the name.

jeannesue,
as you are new to davesgarden you maybe dont know about my photo albums. I'm moving them to the new site so I can have more control over them e.g. stop unauthorised copying. here is the link. choose a plant species and open the album.

Hi again Mark! Check out your hyperlink and really enjoyed your picture show! What kind of camera do you use?
Any luck with the name of your new website??

thanks Jeannesue.

I use a Canon EOS 600 autofocus with a 100 macro lens which allows me to get in closer than the images you saw.

in the next few days I will be buying a Fuji 2400 for quick shots around the garden for when I'm asked what a certain plant looks like. it wont be used to replace my slide shots but will be used in conjunction with the canon.

Mark
