It is gorgeous in the front window!

Hoping it will set seeds like all the other "inside" MG experiments have produced!

I think I love growing MG's inside BETTER than outside. For some reason, the blooms stay open all day and sometimes for two days when you grow them indoors!

You sure know how to perk up a day cleaning pots. Lovely.

...and thanks for the cameo elegance seeds, Bluespiral. I might have another chance at growing them, now!

You're welcome - I'll be interested to see how they do - there were only 4 pods and they were ripened indoors after frost on stems in water. Are they normally that small?

The other few cameo elegance seeds I had were very small, too.

A real beauty!!

I thought it was picotee blue, just single flowers so far. It was a stray seed in the bottom of my box.

Beth, your comment reminded me of this flower that I grew this fall...very similar....: http://davesgarden.com/journal/j/si/105298/

It was seed from a purple star shaped picotee.....siblings were true star flowers with one being double. I think mine was a hybrid courtesy of the insects as it was unprotected. I've saved seed from it so a grow out next year will confirm or disprove my suspicion.

Arlan,
Your bloom does look similar! Maybe the bloom looks just a little rounder than mine. It is lovely!
