Hi everyone...
I'm new to this board, and still finding my way around DG in many ways as well.
I have a question...I'm in San Diego...and I just got one of those tiny tiny little Xmas trees (the small ones, in a 4-6" pot with celophane around the bottom)...and I am desperately hoping I can keep this little guy alive this time and do the right thing.
Anyone have luck with these little trees before??? Or do you have a suggestion of a better board to try??? I've tried twice with these small trees, and I always find a way to kill them. This year, I'm determined not to let that happen! Please help if you can.
thanks...

Help with those small xmas trees!
I've had them in years past--here's what I did to keep them alive. First, they are not indoor plants, they much prefer to be outdoors, so I actually kept mine last year in a pot outside on my patio where it was in full view from my living room. If you need to have it inside, I would keep it outside and then just bring it in for a few days right around the holidays, then put it back outside again. The other thing to be careful of is not overwatering them, I think that's probably the #1 cause of death for container plants in general and these are no exception!
