Lodi, CA(Zone 9b)

That is so pretty... It would be hard to stay inside from that point of view! Does she have fragrance? Absolutely beautiful.

Fort Lauderdale, FL(Zone 10b)

She has a wonderful fragrance....She is quite large too...a complete package

Do you think you will need to trim her up a little someday...? LOL She is absolutely beautiful!!!

Fort Lauderdale, FL(Zone 10b)

Many people have asked me for cuttings of my brugs. You have to understand that I am on a completely different schedule from most people in the U.S.. Where as most of you have put your brugs away for the season I am at the peak of my bloom season. I don't prune my brugs until the spring when i go to NY for the summer. Since my brugs are stressed during the heat of the summer, and i wouldn't be getting many blooms anyway that is the best time for me to do my brug trim.
So, Late spring/early summer is when i cut on my brugs. Hit me up then...and we'll talk!

Great pictures, Gary. Just wondering how people find your front door. LOL!

Fort Lauderdale, FL(Zone 10b)

Well, Shirley when visitors get to the gate they are issued a machete and a map...LOL!!

Wildwood, FL(Zone 9a)

Gary I would need labels along with that machete! Gorgeous color.

Maben, MS(Zone 7b)

So pretty Gary.

Austell, GA(Zone 7a)

Gary, she is stunning! Another one for my wish list.

Brenda

Myrtle Beach, SC

She is absolutely gorgeous, looking out of your front door has to be breath-taking!!!!!...I would love to be on the list of "oh please, may I have a cutting ??!!" ANY time at all would be fine, I keep looking for her on EBay, but no luck yet.
God bless and very Safe & Happy Holidays, Margo

Lovely Brug. Gary !! I do have this one, but didn't see blooms on it this summer, so I am really anticipating something special to look forward to this coming Spring.

Fort Lauderdale, FL(Zone 10b)

Patricia, believe me...she is worth the wait!!

Lizella, GA(Zone 8a)

Brooklyn, NY(Zone 7b)

GAry... great looking flowers.. and a fine plant to carry them.. and growing there...with other fine growing brugs.. greeting you at the door welcomeing you to paradise... a real sweet area... congratulations .... Gordon

San Leandro, CA(Zone 9b)

Incredible color, Gary. I never get such color here. Patricia I am dying to see what color you get. We will all have to post pics this summer to compare. You have the heat but I am not sure you have the humidity to get the deep pink.

Your yard must be the talk of your neighborhood, Gary!

Dunedin, FL(Zone 10b)

Beautiful ! Photo of the day :))

South West, LA(Zone 9a)

I would hope for half that color on mine! How far is you house from the meeting? I may have to bring some clippers! ;o)

SE Arky, United States(Zone 8a)

Wow, x, those photos and your garden is over the top, so beautiful, and back to back BISs, two photos on 'photo of the day', very close together, congrats!!!

lagrange, GA(Zone 7a)

Gary, it might be my favorite also and I don't have one. Only your picture. Really pretty.

Fort Lauderdale, FL(Zone 10b)

Sherry? What Photo of the day?

Update: I found it...I didn't know about that feature...and you say i had another photo on a previous day? They should send the photo owners a dmail to let them know...Thanks Sherry!

The other one was your innovative growing solution, with the show photos. Both great photos, way to go!!!

Fort Lauderdale, FL(Zone 10b)

It was jokingly suggested that I color enhanced the pictures, so I decided to show her next to a color chart for comparison....

Ok, where the heck can the picture of the day be found?

Fort Lauderdale, FL(Zone 10b)

Home page, then news, then daily news

Jeffersonville, IN(Zone 6b)

Thank you!! That's been driving me nuts for the last 6 months!

Fort Lauderdale, FL(Zone 10b)

LOL!! why didn't you ask someone?

Jeffersonville, IN(Zone 6b)

uh, being the "I'll figure it out myself" type person, I thought I could find it on my own; obviously I couldn't. That would all be part of my charm. Sometimes it works, sometimes it fails miserably! LOL!! Thanks, Gary

South West, LA(Zone 9a)

I never even knew that was there! I guess I need to visit more than the Brug forum when I come to DG.

San Leandro, CA(Zone 9b)

Just gorgeous, Gary. I have never seen it so dark in pictures and I have never seen another brug such a dark PINK either. It is a true PINK too. I bet you could rent rooms at your cottage. Just last week 2 of us Daver's were out at a nursery and saw a thunbergia and both immediately thought of the photo of your Thunbergia grandiflora
covered cottage. What a grand sight that was.

Fort Lauderdale, FL(Zone 10b)

Kell, I get great color on most of my pinks. Butterfly was a washout, but the rest were nice deep colors. I get very similar dark colors on Miss Emily. Last year I didn't have a color chart for comparison but here is what Miss Emily looked like last january.
