Variegated Viburnums??

Millstone Township, NJ(Zone 6b)

Anyone know of any variegated viburnums besides these?
lantana 'Wavecrest'
japonicum variegata (not hardy)
rhytidophyllum variegated (not stable)
recently saw a variegated dentatum at Spring Meadow Nursery in MI. Didn't look very stable.

Scott County, KY(Zone 5b)

I have seen many variegated Viburnum lantana (and only grown a few, because I think most of them look like they have herbicide damage). 'Holden Golden' is the only one I still have, and I'd punt it except that it is useful for pollination and as an example of a really ugly plant. Ernie/malusman posted a picture and description of the variegated V. dentatum 'Golden Arrow' on this forum a little while back; you may have seen this before:

I don't have any other personal experience with growing variegated viburnums, but I'd add the following that are listed by Lord Kenyon (who holds the British NCCPG National Plant Collection of viburnum):

V. x carlcephalum 'Variegatum'
V. carlesii 'Variegata'
V. lantana (several forms)
V. lentago 'Show Girl' (mentioned as unstable)
V. odoratissimum 'Variegatum' (can't believe it would be hardy in NJ)
V. opulus 'Aureum', 'Tatteri', 'Variegatum'
V. tinus (several forms, doubtfully any hardy in NJ)

Baltimore, MD(Zone 7a)

Why don't you like them SP?

Elburn, IL(Zone 5a)

V. opulus 'Kristy D' has been offered by www.variegatedfoliage.com

I haven't heard of V. lantana 'Wavecrest'--where did you see that one?

V. lantana 'Gold Edge' has a thin gold line around the edge of the leaves--not impressive. I like my variegated V. lantana actually, growing in the shade, adding some color. I planted the yellow version, the variegated version, and the 'GoldEdge' together. I already have variegated seedlings growing beneath 'GoldEdge'. Perhaps one will turn out to be exceptionally attractive. A few years back, I had a branch on one of my V. prunifoliums that was perfectly variegated, looking like the Cornus 'Ivory Halo'. I marked the branch, but it was green the next year.......sigh.

Thanks all. I hadn't know about the dentatum Golden Arrow. I'll have to see if I can get some cuttings from the Scott Arb.
Also that one at VFN looks good too.

This is a pic of the dentatum Eliason(as it was labeled) at Spring Meadow. Don't get too excited, it was the only well variegated branch on the whole 5 foot plant!
