Today I went by the big creeping fig and found one seed pod laying on the ground. I nabbed it, for sure. Now the problem I have is do you plant the whole thing, or is ther e seeds inside to plant. I haven't been able to find out and I am going crazy with curiosity. I want to open it up and look inside so bad, but don't dare incase I have to plant the whole thing since I only got one pod.
Creeping fig
Is this Ficus pumila ? It needs a certain wasp to pollinate it for the seeds to be viable. It can be propagated by cuttings. Apparently this plant is a real problem some places. Here's the PlantFiles link if you haven't seen it yet. I'm surprised, it says deer won't even eat it?
