How do I save seed from My Butterfly Clerodendrum, Blue Glory Bower
Clerodendrum ugandense Plant? I have had good luck with making cuttings from this but want to know if I can get seed from this plant?
Here is the DG link

Hi Tricia,

That link you have, if you scroll to the pictures toward the bottom, shows you the seeds on the plant :o) here http://davesgarden.com/pf/showimage/61334/ and here

If you do collect seeds on this beauty, I would love some.

I have a huge 7 yr old plant of this and have never been able to make the seeds do anything--and I'm no newbie. But they are super easy to root. All the clerodendrums are, but this one is the easiest I have worked with.

THank you Connie ...I never noticed! I will check mine for pods. I am wondering if the pod is what you plant or is there seeds in the pod.
I think this plant is one of my fav's. The flowers are so pretty.
Debbie...I have been making cuttings but like to have the seeds too! I will see if I can get some started when and if I get the seeds:) Thanks! Tricia
