Magnolia delavayi ??

Does anybody have experience with this tree or know where I could get one? The common name is Chinese magnolia. It's described in the PlantFiles database ( http://davesgarden.com/pf/go/68494/index.html ), but I have not been able to find one via the PlantScout or other web searches.

I don't see it listed in the current catalogs, but in the past this Magnolia has been offered by the following mail-order nurseries before:
http://www.cistus.com/
http://www.greergardens.com/
http://www.gosslerfarms.com/

You might try them to see if they still have some or are planning on offering them again soon.

PS. You are lucky to be in one of the few areas of North America that has a good chance of growing this very fussy Magnolia.
