I was at a craft show two Saturday's ago , and it was at the home of the crafter herself. Everyroom in her home had been turned into display areas for her fall and winter crafts. Everything was very pretty. I didn't buy a thing. ( Much restraint was needed , but was helped out by low funding. I was broke.)On the way back to the car, I passed her trash that was set out for pick up. We had just had a killing frost and all her hanging baskets were out for trash pick up. One plant with a tiny little white bloom was trying to live on after the freeze. It was dainty and I liked it alot. I picked off a couple of stems and took them home and put them in a vase of pansies I had on the dining room table. When I was ready to throw out the pansies , I was amazed that the stems had REALLY grown roots. I looked it up and it is Euphorbia 'Diamond frost'. In the research to name it, I found it is a good houseplant and will be coupled with poinsettias this Christmas by the commercial growers to add fullness in the pots. If you should buy one, you should keep the Euphorbia as a houseplant until it can be added to a summer hanging basket. It looks like it will be a great addition to any hanging basket. Lou
Edited to change name to Diamond Frost instead of Mountain Frost

Euphorbia " mountain frost'
I posted this on your other thread too, but I think the name of it might be 'Diamond Frost', not Mountain Frost in case others are looking for it.
Got a picture??
YEP, I GOOFFED! It is Diamond Frost. I wish I could change the thread title. Thanks for the correction. Lou
Hi Lou,
I went to our local garden tour last year and this was the NEW plant in everyones garden. I just loved it. After the tour, I went to one of the local nurseriers and purchased one immediately. After it got establised for awhile in my garden, I took a few cuttings and stuck them in potting soil, and sure enough I had more plants for the rest of my garden. Here in my zone, it is a nonstop flowering plant, so it will be nice all winter also.
Our local garden guru in the newspaper, did an article on this plant last month. She mentioned how it would look around Poinsettias for the holidays. She also mentioned that you should plant this in front of a wide leafed plant to show off the small white flowers better.
Aren't you glad you took that small piece from the trash? lol

Yes, even though I only got three starts, I know that when they get bigger, I can get more starts from them and so on. It is in with some large heart shaped Philo and looks good . It is blooming its little head off and is so dainty looking with just a few blooms scattered here and there. I hope to get some with a poinsettia too. Lou
