I was wondering how this particular Larch does with moist ground. Wavecrest Nursery sells these exceptionally cool pendulous varieities(anyone who has been there will know exactly which ones I am talking about), and I have a great spot for one, but it is a low spot. Right now, Clethra, Itea, Juncus, Rodgersia, Filipendula, and Swamp Milkweed thrive there. Its essentially full sun, always moist to wet, but never standing water, up here in Zone 5. Will it work in that spot?
Larix kaempferi
It does need fairly good drainage, it isn't anything like as wet-tolerant as Larix laricina.
Resin
Well, guess I will have to move it upland a bit!
