This little guy was brought in while in cocoon stage by my grandbabies...stayed all winter and hatched out in March...cute little white thing...

It's one of the Tiger Moths, maybe the "Agreeable Tiger Moth", or maybe this one, the Virginian Tiger Moth:

Yes, I don't think it had the orange neck area...so I think this is it! It was a cutie pie! LOL Here is a picture of the cocoon...I was actually getting ready to throw it out, it was in a "bug catcher" all winter...and when I opened it up it was almost completely out..so I took it outside to the planter and set it out so it could dry it's little wings...it was pretty amazing...you can tell I get excited over little things...LOL
