Hey Becky, It looks like you have two different colored corona's on your flower. Is that the lighting? Beautiful flower. Can you get a better shot of your leaves on the second photo?
Carol your flowers are really pretty, I love the chlorantha, very pretty color.
Oh as the list grows.......
November Blooms
Great blooms ya got this fall Carol. I still have hardly any, but I will put a shot of the H. nummeraloides bloom with the yellow centers in here. (I guess it is really not the coronas that are yellow as they appear to be white along with the corollas. It is the very center thing that is yellow).
Beautiful blooms Becky. Wish I could help ya out with IDing them, but I have no clue. Ha.
LOL Tami ...."As The List Grows"...could be our soap opera. Ha. Or how about a song, " The List Goes On"?
Marcy
nice shots Marcy ... very different bloom than I am used to seeing in a nummulairoides - very lovely.
Ann
Marcy that is really pretty, I wasn't aware that H. nummularoides bloomed different. It's very pretty. I like your Soap Opera Title Too.
Tami - it's just the lighting making it look like a different color on the Montana, I have all my Hoyas on a lighted rack and makes it hard to take pictures sometimes, both for lighting and space - I'll take a pix of the un-ID'ed one once it blooms and make sure I get a leaf or two in there!
Roy, that is BEAUTIFUL!!!
There were some debates, recently, about the differences between H. subquintuplinervis and H. pachyclada. I know of one website that shows blooms similar to yours, but describes the plant as an H. pachychlada 'Red'. Take a look and tell me what you think: http://www.kerstinshemsida.se/Hoya/ny_sida_3.htm
Ann
Edited to say ... you'll have to scroll down the left-side frame until you get to "Pachyclada röd," click on that link and the photo will appear.

Ann, I had a look at that. I can see what you mean, that flower looks closer than the C. Burton photo. My rooted cutting came from david Liddle so I don't doubt mine is Subquintuplinevis. I also have Pachyclada which is just starting to flower again after three weeks. The leaves are quite different. Awanda has been given a plant she has been told is a cross between the two. We both agreed the leaves on her cross didn't look like either plant.
I've just asked her if the supplier of her plant has a photo of a flower. I'm just speculating now , but I wonder if H. pachyclada rod is that cross.
Roy
And here is one I think from Dale Kloppenburg via Annie Wayman (am I right about that Ånnie? My bookkeeping is not all that it could be!). The title of the photo is "pachyclada hybrid", making it clear that the photo is of a cross between H. pachyclada and H. sp. Bagkok-4. I'm not sure of the identity of H. sp. Bangkok-4.

Mark...I always look at the base of the leaves to see the differences between the two....and the overall shape of the leaves...H. pachyclada being not quite as 'chubby' as H. subquintuplinervis...
Mel, that is beeeeeuutiful!
d
Well done, Mel. How's it smell? Is it the sweet US clone or the "barnyard" Swedish one?
Oh, Mel, that's BEAUTIFUL!!
Mel - you should be pleased - it's beautiful! :-)
Mel you grow girl! I'm sure you got some of your growing ability from your twin moi:-).
Blessings,
Awanda
What a great way to brighten a rainy day! Good for you Mel! -joanne
FABULOUS, Mel!!! What an excellent thing to come home to. Excellent job on the photography as well.
Ann
Come on cuttings grow! I want some flowers:)
I just love this thread and look for it everyday that I can snag the computer, to see what new photos are posted. Yes I do read what everyone says but looking at all the lovely photos makes this one of the happiest places, Move over Disney.
You guys/gals are the best
Bea
Gorgeous bloom as well as photo. Congrats!
Marcy
Mel, how awesome for you!!!! Glad to see you back around. I've been thinking of you....every time I check your babies for new growth, I wonder how you are doing.
Sara
Mel, that is really beautiful. What a pretty picture too. O.K. where's my list..
Mel, do you think your H. magnifica could possibly be aff. albiflora (I think sometimes sold as magnifica var. WMZ)? It looks a lot like Teg Greens photo in his catalog, and not as flat as magnifica usually looks (in photos, I've never been lucky enough to see or smell it in real life!)
Thanks all ! Wow Ann, the photo compliment means a whole bunch coming from you!
I think the fragrance is like a gardenia with a hint of musk...exotic and earthy. Too bad we do not have smell-a-puter.
Mark, the plant came from David Liddle. It is IML 152.
Well, I guess it's magnifica then!
Yeah, I've often longed for smell-a-puter, too.
Beautiful flowers Mel. I got this one from David on our spring order from him. It rooted very quickly and took off like a rocket!! No flowers yet but I have a really nice plant.

Absolutely gorgeous, Christine!
Don Ü
Stunning, Christine!! What a vibrant color - I bet that keeps you chipper on a gloomy day.
Ann
Very Pretty
It really is a true red, not orangish or yellowish at all. I really like it.
Bea
Thanks Don, Ann and Bea. The foliage is variegated and quite lovely too. I treated it with Neem Oil before I brought it in the house, and no aphids!
Its so nice reading through this thread, and all of your flowers are just so beautiful. I thought I could at least contribute something pretty too. However, I have new peduncles on lots of my hoyas, so spring should bring me many hoya joys! I can't wait!
Christine
Roy - it most certainly is happy Hoya growing! :-)
Bec
Lotta and Roy - Beautiful!
Roy and Lotta, those blooms are just lovely!!!
