Neil-
I just got the odora aureovariegata from Eclipse this spring. For me it has been healthy but slow growing. The variegation has been consistent with all new leaves.

That Odora Aura Variegata is Gorgeous!

The other looks to be Arum italicum.

Ric

Could it (greyish-green) leaves with darker veins) be Alocasia Nebula Imperialis?

Ric,

It's definitely not Arum Italicum. I had to hunt down the name because it was bothering me. It is Rhektophyllum mirabilis.

Thanks,
Martina

Rox, the plant with the gray/blue leaves is known to me as Alocasia Guttata Imperialis, not sure if that's the same as Nebula Imperialis. There seems to be so many names for some plants.

The Rhektophyllum was changed from Ceresestis and ever since then, I cannot remember the name. Oh well....

Celt and Ric.....let me check outside tomorrow to see what pups I have. This is one of the plants I trade heavily during the summer. You have to make sure you get one that has good variegation.

As Rox said, the variegation is consistent with the plant and I have never had one revert to green. I don't have a problem with mine growing pretty quickly, once it gets established and as long as it is kept out of direct sun light.

Celt, if you ever trade your Odora variegata I would love to trade you for it.....that is one that is not easy to find either. I have seen it on Ebay a couple of times. Maybe it will become more popular and get posted more there.

Martina I'd appreciate it!
I should have pups to trade you on all the plants I've posted here on this thread.
If not I will come Spring.
