Do you know if this ginger is sick??

Boy, do I feel like a bad ginger momma. We had rain today and they (Dr. Moy) had previously been laying almost on the ground with what I now know was the 'begging for water' position. How could I have been so stupid. They are feeling much better (I'd say), I hope they make it through the torture...

I can just picture this tough guy cat strutting down the street. LOL

I find my gingers have their leaves fold back on themselves down the sides when they need water.

Yes Kell, it is sick. I am will to nurse it back to health and allow it to live in my garden until it is well and I can return it to you. :)

Gee wiz... can you say road trip to a Florida Wal-mart :) You really do never know which kinds of seemingly generic treasures you will find in their garden department. Last year I found 1 gallon sweet tea olives cheap and had a field day. Went back for more this year and they said evergreens weren't good sellers and they weren't going to have them?? I think they meant that they died from neglect before they had a chance to be sold! :(

I always feel guilty about having my bird feeder so close to the deck..it's on a plant hook which attaches to the deck. My cat sometimes lays in wait and I go out and yell at him and I've also freaked out screaming at him after he's caught a bird and he just looks at me like, "whats your problem lady" and will eventually let go as I come running. I'm sure the neighbors think I'm nuts..

such sweet kitties and yet they can be brutal with the birdies, geckos, etc. Mine is the same.

I agree Voss, they seem so sweet and then you see them go after a little animal relentlessly. My Molly does not give up. I can yell and scream and she is just so quick. She may drop the mouse, it starts to run and she gets it again.
