I got bulbs at one time from a lady in Canada known as Lisa's Lilies. She had some nice varieites of her own such as Alex 8. Whatever happened to her? Does she still sell?
What ever happened?
I found something that sounds like who you are talking about, Mainiac. The site appears to be under construction, but there is a phone number under the contact information.

I bought a few from her last year. I have Alex 8 but didn't get it from Lisa's Lilies......don't think it is one of her own..... http://store.lisaslilygarden.com/ind.html This came up on a search for Fellner lilies.
Where is she located?
In Podunktown, Saskatchewan. Uuuh, I don't remember, will have to look back for an invoice, but it was in Saskatchewan.
That close enough! lol
Well, you learn something new every day. This all lead me to a search about Fellner. I have heard the name but didn't know anything about this one. I found some interesting information on the ValleyK site. Gee, you Canadians have some great lily hybridizers! And some wonderful lilies. I sure hope you are appreciative of them!
Alex 8 is one of Alex Burdett's lilies. Dark dark dark. Quite beautuiful. Also Alex 3, 5, 6, 7. All unregistered so had to have some name as people wanted them so badly.

So where can they be bought?
It looks like echoes link has these Alex lilies. It sure looks like you can buy them there. Perhaps this fall's season is closed now, being that far north. Interesting looking lilies, these Alex types. She has an e-mail link.

My Alex 8 came from Valley K. She's finished for the season.
BTW, we have this vendor listed here: http://davesgarden.com/gwd/c/2577/
If you've ordered from her, I'm sure she (and others) would appreciate your feedback!
probably not mine
Well, even if the experience wasn't that good, undoubtedly other buyers would appreciate knowing that before they order ;o)
Terry, I agree, wholeheartedly, about the watchdog system. Good or bad rating, it's important for those of us buying to have a sample of what their products typically consist of, from service to merchandise. Also beneficial to those in business, as it may show ways to improve on customer satisfaction. It's a win-win for everybody.
Please echoes, rate this lily grower, if you have had the experience. Pretty please?? :0)
I'm thinkin on it.
I've thought about it, and I'm going to try ordering here again, before I decide what kind of feed back to leave.

Terry,
You might not want my comment on the watchdog. Her bulbs are quite small when shipped, due (I think) to her shorter growing season. That said, her bulbs are hardy and should bloom in a year or two.
