Fall Photos from Christchurch Botanical Gardens

I thought I would post some fall pictures of trees and shrubs (trying to make up for previous post of sea pickles) taken last spring during a visit to New Zealand. This series of photo’s are all from the Christchurch Botanical Garden zone 9 a few weeks prior to winter. I was depending on the microphone feature on my camera for record keeping which I now know is a bad idea. Some trees I have photo records of tags but a good number I do not I am hoping you can help. #4 The Eucalyptus delegatensis or its common name alpine ash. The lower trunk of this reminded me of an elegant woman’s ball gown..

#6 Colletia cruciata Anchor Plant was a very cool shrub from Chile and Argentina the blooms are sweetly scented.
