Well... this will have a high cost it time... and effort...[ I'll never learn ] but I've got a pile of brugs to trim to a more standard form before moving them inside. ..and I hate to see them not providing someone the joy they have given me.. but I'm interested in some more also...
First... to play... you have to send your requests or offers to trade... go gift offers... to me ONLY at
GordonHawk@hotmail.com
I'd like not to have daves mail filled up and if I can have everything in one place I might stand a chance of not disapointing anyone..
I'm only looking to have sent to me some particular pinks or whites.. or anything Varaigated.. also any red brugs and anything blue.. and brugs of the blue or purple family... will be trade canadates.. HAHAHA..OK
I've pinks a plenty .. some might come named.. and a bunch of whites of diffrent types...Shredded white is about my favorite this year... after the cold/ wind knock down [ it did take a 5' roundglass topped table w/ tied down umbrella and toss the lot of it about 15 ft from where it rested...didn't break the glass though] and with in a day or so.. o'l shredded had a1/2 dozen blooms open.. such spunk
Well...at some point I'll have to put an end to this...Niverna....but for now let the feeding frenzy begin..

Large Brug cuttings available Trade or postage
LOL! Good luck Gordon! Give us a shout in a few days to let us know you swam your way to the top of all those e-mails. You are a generous person to share your cuttings with others.
Glad to hear you didn't have too much damage from the wind.
Barb
Hi Barb...
well hope your brugs from last year are doing OK... time to getthem in... evenfor you down there...I've got your begonias a blooming here now..
Got only 1/2 dozen takers so far... about enough to send from one big brug... but I'm sure others will get it together... but out of the 6..only one sent their address ... don't want to rush into anything I guess...
well off to get a humidifier ..catch ya'll later ... Gordon
OH.. did I give you some of the night blooming cereus at mothers... this is the mother plant to hers... If I didn't give you some of it then.. I should send some to you...
I sent you DMail
Hi Gordon. Yes, you were very generous and gave me a huge pot of it. I didn't know how to water/not water it and so it got watered every day - sometimes twice a day - and fertilized the same as the surrounding brugs did. It rewarded me with seven huge white blooms just like yours there. It was SO gorgeous! I have it inside now and was going to try to take some cuttings of it to start on the warming mat. It now has nine other epies to grow along with it. See what you started?!?
Thanks again for your generosity.
Barb

My friend Connie is the best at growing NBC
IMO
Thank you for the link. I have bookmarked it for reference. It is certainly a lot of good information.
Barb
Well... there's more cuttings I'm afraid... guess I should start sending them out.. any more takers .. there's also CypressGardens.. and peaches & cream.. snow white.. and pinks galore.. along with a new one.. ^ UP it's often seen as a midstem cutting without leaves... Gordon
Great looking brugs, Gordon. That NBC is a beauty too.
Well...Brugie... thanks... we've missed you here abouts... glad to have you back.. you might not need any of these brug cuttings..but how about a heafty chunk of the NBC... everyone coulduseabout 5 pounds of it...
Oh Barb..yes lots of information on the NBC link.. but remember...it's all very locale related... I keep mine out in the full sun from 6am to8 PM... [summer light ] after about 2-3 weeks under the trees to acclimate it to the real sun... [ or it wll get sun burn ] then it does just fine.. I'm in the same zone as you are ... but then again... the zones are winter related.. and have no consideration wahtever...to the summer sun it might receive.. so keep open to your own research..considering your personal microclimes , situations.., and care.. Gordon
Well.. getting the last of the brugs and tropicals downstairs... only the 5-6 biggest are yet to trim and be brought inside to the warmth... the tattered babies so love comming into the 75* temperatures... they will often start to bloom away... got adozenbuds on the NBC.. and Cupids Blush finally sent up her first first year bloom then.. pictured below... she's not big enough to start cuting ...sorry... next year for her...
but there's more cutings available... get aboard.. Gordon.
Your Cupids Blush is a beauty. Gord did you ever get my email?
PerennnialGirl... well if you are Donna A there in Winnipeg I sure did.. although I can't find it now to cross reference it with your screen name though.. your address label is made up...and they should go out with in the next few days... some pinks and a shredded white to start with for you I have.. then whatever else will fit in to the boxes [ I've been getting 3 or 4 types in ] I managed to get from the priority mail folks.. they didn't have my usual long triangular ones[ 24 "or 30".]. and I don't have the 10 days that it would take to get them [ up to 500 ] sent to me from their warehouse..so I'm chopping everything down to the 14" to fit into the boxes I have..so they can't be the LARGE cuttings I was posting... any changes for you there... Gordon
pictured here is one of the [4 ] 4' x 7' floor areas protected by a plastic sheet..covered with a straw weaving [ really a window shade] to protect the floor...and under one of [ 4 ] 400 watt MH lights... to keep everything growing [ and perhaps flowering ] through the winter inside here...for those asking what in the world I do with them all on the roof [they come down and live with me ].
Gordon, I've sent you an e-mail! :-)
Kylee
Gordon: Sent email to the address you gave above.

enjoy...and good growing... Gordon
thanks Gordon. My you are up early!
well.. yes I was up early...Gloria... I sleep a number of times through out the day... not doing so much would help this... how I'd yearn to toss and turn a bit... unable to sleep.. if there's a thng like perfect pitch when it comes to sleep..I thnk I have it... it's just the most natural easy thing in life.. all I have to do is sit motionless for a moment... exhale once and awaken.. it's just that quick, easy... and pleasureable.. I do have to be villigent in long distance driving..
Both Glorias will be in the later run of them... I tried to reply in order to some extent... Gordon
Recieved cuttings today, paid by Paypal, one thick cutting had tag but no name, do you remember what it is.
Doris
Don't forget pay-pal takes a cut / service charge . add a buck or 2 . I don't remember what they charge .
--I didn't ask because they would probably freeze between NY and Calif .
-- Something to think about when asking .
nothing in the mail for me today. maybe tommorow.
Gordon I sent you email.
Doris
Received my cuttings today... all I can say is .. WOW! I was shocked when I opened the package. They are fantastic... and 4 different kinds. I wonder how much they will grow before spring arrives and I get to put them outside. My plumerias are very happy in my atrium right now and I just bought what I need to hand the second grow light. I am really going to have a jungle in there. Thank you very much.. this is like an early Christmas!
Tammie
I received my cuttings today. Thanks so much. Postage will go out to you tomorrow. Thanks again.
DEMinPA
tonyjr, paypal has never charged me for buying - is the charge for sellers?? I've never sold anything which is why I ask. Thanks!!
Yes, they charge the sellers to receive the money. Certain accounts are not charged, but there is a limit on how much money can be received on those accounts.
does the peaches & cream have variegated leaves?
GORDONHAWK U HAVE HOTMAIL

Yes.
Oh.. sorry ,... I once had peaches and cream... it was milk and honey I was postng I had..sorry..
Tonyjr... priority mail flies in a warmed cargo hold... it wouldn't freeze there this time of year.. perhaps in loading or unloading at the airport... but more than likely it would be on the truck to your house... or on your door step that there would be freezing isssues.... whenever it might be sent..
Oh I don't know about paypals cut of the pie.. but surely send more.. that's perfectly OK... and I also didn't want to exclude anyone... even if you aren't receiving cuttings.. you're perfectly welcome to send money also... absolutely no problem...at all there... Gordon

Sure Kassia.. there'scuttings left... and I just saw abrug today.. that needs cutting.. it was either missed... or I'd some other thought of the form it was to enjoy... than I do when looking at it now..so there's more... the second wave should go out tomorrow...
