Hi all,
Well, I'm on a ginkgo kick again and I am looking at planting this cultivar, due to its supposed "fast growth" habit. I also like the look of the leaves.
Does anyone have this cultivar in their yard? And if so, how long have you had it; has the tree grown "fast" for you and does your tree have a nice shape and branching pattern?
Thanks for any and all help.
Mike
Is anyone growing Ginkgo biloba Shangri-LaŽ?
I guess not... oh well...
Mike
Hi Mike..here's a great site I found on Gingkos
http://www.xs4all.nl/~kwanten/thetree.htm
and this is what it says about the gingko your talking about
'Shangri-La': fast growing with compact pyramidal form, 14 metres, grows somewhat faster, male.
Thanks, Jody!
Mike
:-)
