Raspberry seeds

After harvesting my raspberries I had to freeze them whole and just got done straining them. What I wanted to know is, do raspberries grow from seeds and will they grow after freezing them. If they will, would love to trade. Thanks Tonia

Since I had several "new" plants this spring around the mature raspberry plants, I assumed they were from seeds the birds dropped. However, when I dug them for trades, I discovered that all of them were runners from the existing roots. Doesn't really answer your question, but maybe gives a clue!

darius, thanks. Thats how mine are too, but they do not seem to do well in shipping. So I am hopping they will start from seeds then I can share with the friends. Tonia
