I am SO jealous, would love to join you, but the drive is a bit far for me.... :)

I don't suppose mail order is an option? (OMG, I am crazy I already have a bunch of lilies to plant :)

Lincoln, NE(Zone 5b)

Maybe if you talk real sweet...... ;)

Saint Bonifacius, MN(Zone 4a)

esw, maybe the Amazing Pard could construct one of her worm holes for you. Hehehehe.

The sale certainly will be fun, even if there were no other DGer's there.

Southern, WI(Zone 5a)

I'm closer than most, but my weekend is packed with stuff to do. Rats! Maybe next year. You guys look all so happy there.

Lincoln, NE(Zone 5b)

It's really a fun bunch and well worth the trip. Sometimes we even have a 'dinner out' so we can visit longer. Now to double check my shopping list........

Hey, can I get a wormhole too?? Round trip is 6 hours and I'd have soooo much more time to play.

Willamette Valley, OR(Zone 8a)

The PRODOFFPARD will swing by on the way back from the UK and pick you guyses on the east coast up and plop ya down in IA. You might have to hitchhike a bit after that because the plopping accurancy leaves a bit to be desired... Oh... how much is gas in IA? Need to plan the travel budget, you know...

Our sale is next Saturday, the dregs, that is. Somehow after all the recruitment I have done here I don't think there will be much left.

Haydenville, MA(Zone 5a)

Oops, guilty as charged pardalinum! How many new folks joined from DG??

Southern, WI(Zone 5a)

Pard, hey maybe they should give you all the leftovers you want for your part in increased enrollment :0) Thanks for the tip, really. I love it already.

Willamette Valley, OR(Zone 8a)

Yeah--- I want to see a count!!

Southern, WI(Zone 5a)

You gotta tell us. Perhaps we should start a thread called "I joined PNWLS all cause of Pard!"

Lindenhurst, NY

Yep, she got me too. Dave's garden is costing me a ton of money, but I'm lovin' it.
maureen

Albany, OR(Zone 8a)

Pardalium, where is the sale at next weekend here in the valley? I wouldn't mind going if it is close to Albany and to maybe meet you?
Carol

Willamette Valley, OR(Zone 8a)

Well Carol, it's not exactly close. It's in Gresham at Mt. Hood Community College at 1:30 in the afternoon. If I go it pretty much kills off the day because I leave here no later than 11:45 and get back around 4:30. I wish it was in Salem-- wouldn't that be nice! I've already paid to have my order shipped so going up there is optional for me. It's the addiction that usually prods me on to go anyway...

Southern, WI(Zone 5a)

Pard addicted???? No way.....

Lisbon, IA(Zone 5a)

I didn't read this thread till today. Was out all day yesterday with the husband finalizing buying a pickem-up truck and just never got back to log on. Rats, I probably would have went to Dez Moinez for a road trip. Of course, it's raining here and so, that means a really lazy day... It would have been a good day to be smack dab in the somewhat middle of Iowa. :)

Diann

Albany, OR(Zone 8a)

Well, thanks for the information then. Enjoy your time up there then.

Cedar Rapids, IA(Zone 5a)

Dang, - I'm like you Ticker, and didn't go into this thread until today - Wanda - how did the alee go? I'll bet you made LOTS of money and had alot of fun - Dax

Oostburg, WI(Zone 5b)

Sooooo... are there leftovers? I'm sure I have an empty spot or two! :)

Lincoln, NE(Zone 5b)

Oh, yeah.... call Ron.

Lincoln, United Kingdom(Zone 8a)

Aha, the amazing pard now admits that the PRODOFFPARD has no real accuracy! Which means that there cannot have been one of those spectacular wormholes!

Ohohohohoho, one who says "You might have to hitchhike a bit after that because the plopping accurancy leaves a bit to be desired.." well, I leave it to your judgement ladies and gentlemen, can this be one who has the ultra futuristic technology of a wormhole????

It has all been a hoax, I am not infected at all!!!!!!!!!!

Willamette Valley, OR(Zone 8a)

You do not understand at all wallaby: The wormhole CAME TO ME!! VERY ACCURATELY! I didn't even have to guide the PRODOFFPARD to the greenhouse the wormhole took care of everything for me. It is the POWER OF THE PIRATE. Be careful wallaby there is still at least one UGO still out there!!

Lincoln, NE(Zone 5b)

Are you sure?? I had plenty of time to shop, have lunch, buy bulbs with ample time to visit AND go out for dinner. I was gone for exactly 12 hours.

The amazing pard may be bluffing about the inaccuracy......

Lincoln, United Kingdom(Zone 8a)

I'm gonna go out and have a word with those worms..........

Lincoln, United Kingdom(Zone 8a)

Ah Moby, you DID say a round trip is 6 hours! You were gone 12 hours!

AND she has said there is still ONE UGO LEFT!!!!! One for me, one for Watson, one for ?????, and one left! There was four!

Willamette Valley, OR(Zone 8a)

wallaby, don't tell Sherleft but........ well, you know....

Lincoln, United Kingdom(Zone 8a)

Soooo, that's why I couldn't find the remaining UGO!

I went and had a word with the worms, and they told me there was no such thing in their greenhouse, meaning.....'Sherleft's the word'.......

I do think though, seeing that the PRODOFFPARD is not quite up to the job, and that any future expeditions need to be much more efficient, the mighty Pard should be granted a new Spaceship.....

called the PRODOFFPARDON!!!!!!!!!!!

Willamette Valley, OR(Zone 8a)

I'm going to go paint my garage door now.

Cedar Rapids, IA(Zone 5a)

Just a quick note... it was fun to see Moby, Sue and Ron plus enitce a few more people into growing lilies. Of course, I picked up a few myself, too.

We had Madame Butterfly for just $4

Haydenville, MA(Zone 5a)

WAAH! sounds like fun! I am jealous. (of course I can hardly lift my arms with the planting i already have, don't know why I would need more?)

Lincoln, NE(Zone 5b)

But the real question is: why wouldn't you need more??

Just doing my part to be evil ~>:)

Cedar Rapids, IA(Zone 5a)

Moby just wants to add more to our digging adventure next weekend. Getting those boxes packed & shovels ready, Moby?

Johnston, IA(Zone 5a)

Here we are at the bulb sale enjoying the day and talkin' lilies with anyone who stops by. We all had a wonderful weekend of enabling not only our own addictions, but quite a few new people signed up, purchased bulbs, and will become lily lovers because of this weekend in the mall.
If you don't belong to and participate with a Lily Society in your region, you are missing out on a whole lot of fun. (see smiles below for proof :-)
That's Moby-Llilyfan and Wandasflowers in the front row, and Iowaron in the back!

Some of the Longtime Lily Lovers may also recognize Dorothy Schaefer in the background. She is still VERY active in our society.

A great time was had and a lot of bulbs were sold, we caught up on gossip and truth, and we overate. It was a perfect day!

Lincoln, NE(Zone 5b)

That it was.

Lewisville, MN(Zone 4a)

As always a good looking group.
I suppose many Lilies changed hands.
I am looking forward to next summer when all my lilies from the roundup's will bloom. It was so dry here this summer, I hope they got a good enough start. I couldn't water everything & the veggies & glads came first.
Well may have run dry if I did to much watering.
Any food of note, Ron ?
Bernie

Cedar Rapids, IA(Zone 5a)

Too many goodies to count--we kept munching long after we were full.
