P.S. Welcome to the MG forum...

Thanks for the welcome. I have some new young vines just starting outside...most years we don't get a freeze and I can see them all year round. I can post more photos, just don't want to bore people.

I`m new here too and I suspect everyone including me is a picture-aholic. I never get bored looking at pictures!!!

Your contributions are very pretty. I love the flower in the rain. It reminds me of a creatively fashioned bird bath.

Gardenpom, we LOVE your photos and they are not boring at all!

Great pictures keep them coming!!

The photo with the water inside reminds me of the "morning glory urinal" I saw online. I attached a photo...rather a disgusting idea to me...but it sold for $6500! It was done by a glass artist named Sorenson.

Eww..that is Not a bird bath. 6500 bucks, huh? LOL

Very pretty flowers, thanks for sharing.

Really awesome photos, gardenpom!! What kind of camera do you use, may I ask?

baolvera, where in the heck did you find that MG urinal picture!! LOL I guess the artist has a strange admiration for Convolvulaceae!

Thnaks for the compliment. I have a couple of Olympus cameras, the one I use now is SP-500UZ, 10X zoom. I love their macro abilities.

gardenpom, very nice pictures! Aren't they great subjects? I like your compositions! - Arlan

Paris, TN(Zone 6b)

Gardenpom,

Beautiful photos and composition as Arlan said - you have a good eye (and an even better camera!) I still can't get decent close ups of things like stamens and sepals and such even though I've tried - my ancient digital just isn't capable (or maybe it's me, not sure...LOL)

What is the name on the one shown here please? Are they Heavenly Blue? I'd like to order seeds for this one:

One thing I've noticed, everyones leaves look far healthier and shinier than my plants. I suspect it might be my 'no artificial measures' take on gardening which simply leaves them open to full interaction to all critters. But I've also noticed that my plants in the back yard (away from all my spray happy neighbors) have much more lush foliage, less crud look to them, and such. The ones up front are also exposed to continual traffic relatively close, so perhaps exhaust and other air pollution takes their toll as well? If this could be the case, then all my MG's that I want to grow out next year will have to go in the back yard. Kind of depressing as I'd like to share the beauty with others, but I'm not sure the icky look of the foliage would show off the beauty of the plants in the best light ;)

Thank you again for all the photos, I agree, we're all pretty photo-holic on this forum and I personally never tire of looking at the pics that others post to share; it only causes my pleasure with these plants to increase!

You'll have to hope one of the more knowledgeable posters can tell you........I love them and take pictures, but don't know the varieties that well.
