Every spring and fall the Mobile Botanical Gardens has a plant sale. For anyone who lives within practical driving distance, I highly recommend checking it out. I went last year and it was lots of fun. Everyone races in with their wagons and collects the plants they want. After everyone gets their wagons loaded they can enjoy wine and great food.
