Can someone please help?

I have a red seed pod on my clivia.

Do I take it off the plant now, or wait longer, until it falls off?

Do I plant right away, or wait until it dries?

How do I plant it, and what kind of potting medium do I use?

Plant covered, or uncovered?

Is there a better place to post this? Please help!
