Found this on a wildflower in PA. today taking a picture of the flower to be Id. Now I really think I want the wildflower if it is a butterfly cat!!!

It's a Striped Garden Caterpillar moth larva , Trichordestra legitima. Is that an aster?

Thanks Clay. I believe it is an aster. Flowers posted on the plant ID forum. Spent a wonderful day seeing the Hex sign tour in Kutztown and there abouts. Beautiful Country side that's for sure!!!

I drove around Boyertown, the leaves and fall flowers are gorgeous. Definitely going to have frost tonight here
