Hamamelis virginiana cvs.

Peoria, IL

Has anyone been growing any of the following (or other) cultivars of H. virginiana?

HAMAMELIS VIRGINIANA 'CHAMPLIN'S RED'
HAMAMELIS VIRGINIANA 'HARVEST MOON'
HAMAMELIS VIRGINIANA 'LITTLE SUZIE'
HAMAMELIS VIRGINIANA 'MOHONK RED'
HAMAMELIS VIRGINIANA 'TENNESSEE BEAUTY'

Copied and pasted the names because I'm lazy. I'm wondering if some have red fall color or if it may be red flowers that are being referred to in the names?

Thanks in advance,
Ernie

La Hymn de la Palm,

As a matter of fact, I just took this shot of "Little Suzie" yesterday at BCA. Tiny fragment of a tree, but blooming nevertheless. Apart from this one experience, I have never seen any other H. virginiana cultivar. They seem to be exceedingly hard to find for some reason.

Hola Señor Decumbent!

Me gusta mucho este foto de 'Little Suzie' Yo quiero comprar una plantita de 'Suzie Pequeña' o posiblimente puedes cavar la planta de la BCA y mandar a mi? Umm, need to quit mixing studying Spanish with reading at Dave's Garden. Thanks for the picture. Appears to put on a decent floral display. Now to buy one and have it make babies as my segundo, Ernesto, would say.

Regards,
Ernie

P.S. La Hymn?
