I made my journal public. Wondering why when I'm logged off and do a search under other journals for "iris" my entries aren't showing up in the search results.
Why aren't my journal entries showing up in searches?
Did you just enter them recently? I wonder if maybe there's a delay between when you put things in and when they get indexed and would show up in a search?
Terry in Admin. sent me a message and said that it is based on the number of journal entries. Looks like I need to keep on making entries in the journal to obtain a better position and visibility for my journal entries.
That's weird, I never knew it did that. I wish you could see everyone's--if there's some new weird plant and I'm wondering if anyone else was growing it I wouldn't want to miss out on seeing it because that person didn't have enough journal entries to show up on the list! I can understand though if it's a really common plant that I wouldn't want to see 10,000 entries, but for less common stuff it would be nice if it wasn't limited just to results from people with lots of entries.
Well I'm growing over 500 different iris cultivars and over 200 different daylilies, so I thought I'd put photos of each one I'm growing in my journal.
Wow! That's a lot! Make sure you put your pics in Plant Files too if some of yours are cultivars that don't have pictures in there already...
