another seed pod question

Skowhegan, ME(Zone 5b)

We have had several "frosty" nights up here. My poor mg's, they are dieing. I still have tons of unripe seed pods. Will the frost kill them? Will it speed up the ripening process? I really don't know if I should pick and set in water as recommended, or just leave the poor thing alone. Am sending pics of my poor frosted vine. Thanks again for any help, ~ Sherry

My experience is that any seeds that are not fully ripe will be turned into non-viable mush by the cold...

What you decide to do is entirely your decision...

Glad that you have been able to get some ripened seeds...
