a late lily

I ordered some lilies late last summer on sale and the last have just bloomed. Kind of fun to have a lily this late. I was wondering if I could refrigerate bulbs in the spring and plant them later as I did this one to always have Sept lilies? Patti

I too have a very late bloomer. Black Beauty. Planted 5-30-06. Plant only achieved 1 ' 10" height.
